We will teach you about some of Mexico’s most extraordinary practices.
The most important tradition on the list is the Day of The Dead. The indigenous Mexican people are responsible for the creation of this festival. The festival runs at the beginning of October to early November. It is interesting to note that this celebration is divided into two parts. November 1st is for the kids and the second is for the adults. Families gather to place Paschal flowers , candles, and other offerings on the grave.
Following is the Ritual Ceremony that will be held by The Papantla Flyers. The origins of this ceremony are from Mesoamerica. Indigenous peoples would perform this particular dance to encourage respect for the environment and peace between the physical and spiritual realms. Dancers must climb up a pole during the dance routine. Then, they are strapped to the pole’s rope top. The pole is then lowered and they are able to perform incredible acrobatic moves while turning around. This is an amazing sight.
